CFCA Sponsorship – UTU Local 349

Saturday, November 20th, 2010

Approximately 6 years ago, the Officers and Committeemen of UTU Local 349 (KC) began sponsoring schooling for a young girl in the Philippines. The sponsorship is through a highly rated charity named the “Christian Foundation For Children and Aging” (CFCA). The officers of Local 349, along with GC Nowlin, sponsor a girl named Analyn Civil who resides in an area of extreme poverty. A couple of times a year, Local 349 Officers receive a letter or card from Analyn. The card for Christmas, 2010 may be read here. – –  1011_Analyn card

For more information about CFCA, the Fall 2010 newsletter can be read here. – – 1011_CFCA news – – We highly recommend this worthwhile cause. (All donations for sponsorship made by Officers or Committeemen are personal. No union funds are used.)
